PSA 2.0 HDI ECU Siemens 5WS40025D-T SID801

Postby KillMe3 » Mon Mar 25, 2013 2:59 pm

Hi all togehter,

that is my first post an Topic.
Ive a Citroen Berlingo with a Siemens 5WS40025D-T SID801 ECU without BSI.
The Original ECU is damaged, so i bought a another one and i want to turn off the immo to start the engine of the Car.
I read in the forum that ive to read out Data from the 93C56 smd.
Now ive the Problem, that im not able to read Data out of the smd.
Ive a MCUmall GQ-4X Programmer. The smd is supported, but the read out Data makes no sense.
Must i desolder the smd to read out Data from it?
There are other ways to turn off the immo?

Thx & Regards

No help but a Solution.
I read just 0000... from the 93C56 EEPROM.
I thougt that it is not posible. Today i try to start my Car with the "new" ECU.
The engine starts...
But now the ECU light is still on and the Engine has no power.
Do you know why????

Thx @ all

Somewhere up in the post, I have load a ready dump for this ECU. It is without Immo. Try with it, but first you need to read your original dump somehow.. ( maybe your prog is not the right one, or you are making something not right :shh: ) And yes, it is better to desolder it, to save yourself additional troubles like this

Dear Yoshimura,

now i dont have a Immo problem. The engine starts.
Now ive the problem that the Controllamp of the ECU is sill on.
Do you think that the 93C56 EEPROM can cause this error ?

Best Regards

Yes, that is what I have in mind :)
But in fact, have you tried to make diagnostics? If the MIL is on, it is clear that there is a problem. You need to know what is going on, and why the MIL is on. Check it, it is easy.
BTW what was the damage of the old one ECU?

Why don't you take eprom from old ECU and put it to new that way you do not need programing it. May be you killed the eprom when you were de-soldering it...

Hi Yoshimura,
hi luxbih,

i made diagonstics today. Errorcode P1613
I dont think that i damaged the EEPROM, because i can read anf write to it.
The damage of the old ECU: One Injector wasn't working.
Is it possible that you upload the datafile for the EEPROM. I would write the Data to the EEPROM.

is this Data universal for all SID801 ?
If you agree with this i would help other People if they are in the same Situation like me.
