Hi everyone. Looking for some advice

I have a kess v2 unit with ksuite software and I am looking to pull the ECU file from a 2014 Mitsubishi shogun.

Is this possible via the OBD port. I've only recently started self teaching myself this trade and would really appreciate some advice. Also how is it determined if a ecu and be read and written via the OBD port as opposed to bench reading it.
