A4 TDI 130CV AVF - opinion needed!

Hi,
I bought a A4 1.9TDI AVF for some time, and it seems that was already remaped.
I would like to have your opinion to know if it is a safe file or not.

I suppose that the original file is the correct for my car.

Vw Hardware Number: °38906019JL
Vw System Type: 1,9l R4 EDC15P
Vw Software Number: SG 1519
Vw Software Version: 000002

Your boost target is all over the place (will not be smooth at lower mg request)

You have increased boost request from 35mg/s and above but you only add more duration @60mg (only full throttle)

You need to play with duration more.

You can request more boost. 2550 is quite a safe target. Keep the table looking nice and smooth

This mod is hopeless... If you have the willingness to play with tuninig, find a decent setup in this forum and adjust it to your engine. Of course, if feel up to it, make your own mod. If you don`t, just pay for the normal one.

Hi,
2550 is safe for VA turbo? I thought that was too much.
I will make a file from scratch and then I ask your opinion.

Hello, in my opinion :
driver wish : no need to change anything if you don't request +70mg
Torque limiter : need more work, don't go too much at high RPM if you are stock config
injection duration : change axes and look at your extrapolation of IQ
boost : as they say can be higher

That map is horrible. And btw you dont need to change injection duration on AVF engine. you can go 2600 on boost limit but you have to adjust n75 cycle. Those smoke and torque maps are painfull to watch if we are thinking how long your engine will last.

One funny thing, you gues did notice that there is still one limiter that limits max 60mg for all right?(IQ by MAF)
No use to put 68 out from torque map or 65 from smoke if your IQ by MAF kills everything.

and you can esily put out 65mg with MAF and 70mg(real value with vcdc would be 69.5) with MAP.
but if you dont do it right you will brick ur engine fast since AVF have so sensitive turbo.

Hi,
My engine and my VA still run with this map....
But now when I accelerate a lot it goes into safe mode, I think it’s the turbo tired...
What's better? Un upgrade on the VA or one original VB?

I made a small LOG.
