Advice on ECU Programming

Postby meestaeimaj » Sun Sep 09, 2012 8:24 pm

Hi,

I'm just wondering if anyone could offer advice on the equipment and software required to virginise a Citroen Siemens SID 802 style ECU (i.e. to unlock) ?

Kind Regards

You need to access it via BDM or you can use the - expensive - KESS.
I have heard of an original Galletto-made interface supporting it (found evidence of this on the new), but did not find it.

Hi - would the BDM100 programmer do this (I notice it's pretty inexpensive) ? Also, where would you find virgin dumps to write to ECU - or can it just be written over with (FFFFF etc) ?

Thanks for your help - it's very much appreciated.

If you will read with BDM - first do the full backup of ECU, then read separate eeprom and flash.
Post the dumps here and we will help you.

Does BDM can support the newer generation car like Ford 2012 Ranger 3.2L TDCI ?
Please you advise the proper hard ware for Write/Read ECU on this model. Thanks
