@rlees85

Are you absolutely sure? When I buy MPPS interface nobody say is need to open the ECU. Afer I try to read the ECU, the software put a message to put pin 24 eprom to gnd. I think this is a method to discourage amateurs. If you try to read ID of the ECU in normal mode you can't. After a number of trying you need to take a break, because the ECU will be blocked for a while(I don't know exactly). So if don't be sure, it is posible to buy a interface kwp 2000+ and of course open the ECU.

last week i bought a 307 hdi cheap with anti pollution fault .i read and write ecu bin through obd socket with mpps no problems.
i used volta to delete dpf i think its same as ecusafe. after you save dpf delete bin you have to correct checksums.
my dpf was a sealed one so i cut it with a thin cutting disk and smashed the insides out then welded backup.
i then connected pp2000 and go to...
ecuconfiguration and services/global test/built in systems interface/configaration/customer options/engine compartment

dust filter (fap) change from present to absent then save configaration

on my car (406 hdi) with ECU EDC15C2 i just use KWP2000+ on my driveway and my ECU has never been touched.

I am not sure if the EDC15C2 on the 307 is different, maybe the mods can confirm this

a guy stop in the road width a flat tire and he think"s if he blow by the exaust pipe he can fill up the tire again !
than another man cames and say to him ! if you don"t close the car window you never go to fill up that tire !

The ECU should respond to the OBD easily.
You can also communicate with ecu via bench (look picture attached), or to desolderthe chip.

If ecu does not respond (edc15c2) but car runs, than you probably have problems with K-Line from obd connector to the ECU or your flasher is bad clone.
You do not have permissions to view the files yet. You have to be registered and you have to make at least 3 quality / unique posts.
