As a starter I would like to make modifications on PCMs bought from scrapyard before moving to a working car. I cannot afford nor trust myself to modify my own car yet. What are the things that I can check on these scrap ECU to make sure that at least part of the work was done correctly. Did any of you try to setup a testing bench?maybe with a couple of sensors or signal generators attached ?
