Beginner guidelines - any tips?

Postby giowz0rd » Wed Dec 29, 2021 2:23 pm

Hello guys,

My name is Paul - a mechanical engineer and also a lover/enthusiast since ever.

I want to learn about ECU Tuning but I honestly don't know from where to start. I know there are plenty info in forum, but it's decentralized and I would like to follow a study line.

I already have read about HPAcademy, EFI University but it seems so generic - I would like to find some focused on Audi/VW ECU tuning.

Do you know some?

Thanks :P

start with edc15.
If you an engineer you will got it in short times.
After read me7 stuff in neftmoto... after some years you have read all and can start with your knowledge.

I suggest mpps cable and edc15 ecu, read it and open it in vagedc15 suite.
Easier to do and learn than just reading theory.

And then? You see maps (defined maps)... without any knowledge about how they working or need to be modified so you start the %-shit... and a new %-tuning god is born... nonsens. You need read before.

Start optimizing maps one by one and search information you need.
But you do you, good luck with that attitude.
