Comparing EDC15C2 files

Postby uberderv » Sun Oct 29, 2017 4:19 pm

Hi all,

Following the guide on here for finding the EGR switch ive located it and the byte string (for my 306 HDI). When i compare this to a Damos off a Hyundai which is also an EDC15C2 the locations are one column behind. Does this mean that i cant use the damos to locate other switches in my file? EG-

In my file the EGR control is the first 001 in this sequence.

001 000 000 000 001 000 001 000 001 048.

Damos is the second 001 in the sequence.

000 001 000 001 000 001 001 000 001 048.

So the switches after that up to the 048 are not going to match? or am I doing something wrong? I cant load the .hex file for the Hyundai but it is on the site here- post395#p395
You do not have permissions to view the files yet. You have to be registered and you have to make at least 3 quality / unique posts.

What is the name of the variable in the DAMOS? only always compare those and not some address locations!
