Hello there. I’ve encountered a problem on a dashboard from a Skoda Octavia Tour 1. 6 8 valve year 2005. The owner accidentally put chewing gum over the check engine. 2 months after I bought the car, the display froze at the clock and kilometer sections. But after 10 minutes of driving, they got up to date.
Recently, it hasn’t been showing anything on the display. What could be the cause or problem of this situation?

Solder joints. Disassamble the cluster and check all solder joints.
