Does EDC16 cover need to be re-glued?

Postby Duckmang » Tue Oct 13, 2020 4:06 am

Considering that the cover is originally glued over the injector drivers do we need to do anything like thermal transfer paste or similar when re-assembling? Does it even matter at all?

That's the weird thing, it isn't sealed at all. The back side appears to be firmly glued into the aluminum casting but the cover is only glued over the injector drivers and is in no way water tight. My concern is mainly heat related.
