Fuel rail temp sensor= im assuming will cut rail pressure if becomes too high, hot fuel= less lubrication not to mention combustion issues?
Are you sure your figures are mg/i? Not Nm , there may be a mm3 to Nm map in there somewhere( are you cdti 150? If so maybe look for map with 5000 revs 500nm 100mm3( maybe over 100 a tiny bit)
No...I have an mg > nm map [rpm vs nm = mg/str]
Only time mm3 is used is the duration map.... that I have found anyway.
Evidently the BMW edc16c31 has the same mg / mm3 setup.
Fuel density changes depending on fuel temp so mm3 vs mg varies (I do normally use 5/6th as a guesstimate).
Thats what I am trying to lock down.
Is there a table of is it just an algorythm in the ecu we dont have to worry about ?
I have an issue where my MPG is getting worse and worse over time.
I am trying to rule out a problem with fuel temp....ECU injecting more fuel than it thinks.
