ED15C2

Postby Stewart » Sat Sep 01, 2012 1:31 am

Hello from Australia,
I mentioned last week my job at University of Queensland and big drama with a PSA DW10DET engine fitted to a test dyne.
It runs all Delphi injection with vdo, siemens sensors. Of course the Delphi ecu will not work out of the car. As mentioned those French electrical layouts are absolutely crazy and don't mention the lunatic wire label system! The ECU would not even give a can bus out put.
Would it be possible to run a Bosch ED15C2 out of the car, independent of all other factors and just run the engine?

On another note I had to change injectors and pump on an ED15C2 system due to water in fuel. What sort of tool would I need to recode the injectors and pump to the ECU. The engine started then gradually lost power and stopped. Now it won't go.
Thanks

Bosch ED15C2 dose not need injector coding to run the engine.

Thanks for that. I have a supply problem then! Very hard to keep up with what needs what and then you also have to trust the software to tell the truth as well. It looks like I'm going to have to go with a SKYNAM Diesel control kit for this Dyne job. Any thoughts?

Hi Stewart,
If you have the immo disabled on an edc15c2 you can run a dw10td outside its original car without needing anything but the engine loom.
I have one fitted to a 1992 205 and it runs great. I am currently working on the obd plug so it can be remapped etc :-)
