Hi :D,

I'm a noob in this ecu tuning world and have been reading up on winols to work with my 2006 1.9Dci Renault Scenic . I've got a couple of questions and need some guidance if possible. I've bought a clone galletto v54 that seems to be doing its job. So, I tried reading the ecu via obd, first using the can injector driver to read my injector codes (which gave me a 4kb file), and then reading the ECU. I'm thinking that I should have given the car 10 minutes inbetween the 2 reads because now the car won't start and I'm getting a check injection error. I've tried writing the injector file and it has succeeded -have tried multiple times but to no avail. I have tried reading the ecu via bdm but I get the error that the chip isn't supported.

I've looked at the injector files and everything is blank apart from two sets of values. I converted the hex-decimal values to ASCII and I found the one set of values to be my VIN number and I'm presuming the other set is my 6 digit IMA injector codes (6x4=24 char). Would it be possible if someone could share with me their injector code dump or take a look at mine to see whats wrong. I'm really stumped at the moment.

On to the second and minor problem - I cannot find any maps on my dump, am looking for the egr hysteresis map which I cannot find (to block the egr),Looking for it as shown on this page: https://sites.google.com/site/vagecumap ... 16-hexdump and I can't find it at all. I've looked through it multiple times, thought I found it but it can't be. If anyone could help me find it that would be amazing, I'm starting to realise that becoming good at this requires lots of practice (in order to easily see maps visually)

My third question is, what do I need to do to program a dump to use on my ecu. I presumed I need to find all instances of the VIN number and change it to mine, but searching the hexdecimal value of the first two characters of my VIN, I can't find anything and I'm not really finding any solid info online on how to go about this. ( I have a full bdm dump from someone with the same car and would like to modify it to mine). This is something I'm really confused about and would be grateful for any guidance.

My last question is, for interests sake, how does one remove the pcb of the ecu from the metal casing (to see the underside of the pcb). I've tried squeezing the plastic piece in the middle of the pcb but the pcb doesn't budge and prying it out wouldn't be good on the pcb itself.
