Hello guys!
Have 2010 VW Jetta 2.0 TDI with Bosch EDC17cp14. For educational purposes I've bought another ECU with exactly the same part number and tried to clone it. Reading was pretty simple with my good working tested on many vehicles Chinese K-tag clone. When I tried to write the file to new ECU it wouldn't allow me to do that cause of the TPROT. Couple days of internet research lead me to actually nothing. Found some info about changing bytes 013C2B in flash to 010000 , it wasn't work for me. Not gonna buy expensive tools for just cloning one ECU. Please show me direction. All instructions I found not clear, I don't understand how to use them. May be someone can disable TPROT in my files? Greatly appreciated!
You do not have permissions to view the files yet. You have to be registered and you have to make at least 3 quality / unique posts.

not a tprot problem, problem is that edc17cp14 is ecu with OTP sectors (one time programming) and cannot just be written from 1 ecu to another

there are certian things that need to be edited so you can clone it, not a simple read and write
