Hi to all.

I tried everything to find that bloody EGR switch in my file.
- Of course i used the search button before ;)
Could anybody help ????

I also tried to set the EGR values at 4C116 to "850" - result: car works but DTC Error !
Then i read to set another map at 6C116 to "850" - result: engine NOT running

Thx

there is a single 8 bit switch that turns off egr asv and maf so must run map based smoke

I think the switch you are talking about is at 51C30 and 71C30.

Do you mean that on the EDC15p there is only one single software switch to disable EGR, ASV and MAF at the same time ???

Hello ratrecer,

you are correct, 04C116 (4x4) and 06C116 (manual) is the address of EGR map.
have to change all values to 850.

what you did is correct. the car has to work.
where have you changed the values, correct checksum?

Greetings

Hi yes i did this switch maf asv and egr logged all zero i had to delete maf fault code when i unplugged it and also remove all vac pipes from asv and egr as the asv flap is closed and cuts the engine out if vac still conected

Thanks redeye, i am working on a 1.4 TDI (AMF) stand alone engine project where i want to run the engine without EGR ASV and MAF.
The smoke limiter is already based on MAP so relying on your information this solution will do the job !
I only have to find the correct adress for my ecu..... :)

To delete the ASV need to change the value 513 on 51cfa to 0, right? and do the same to 71cfa

It's that it?

Through VAGEDCsuite I went into my EGR map and changed all the values across the board to 850.

Hope this helps.
