I am new to this and trying to find answers to basic questions.
What EQUIPMENT is needed to access the ECU and change maps?
What SOFTWARE works for SKODA? Can it be downloaded from online?

hardware : MPPS, galetto or KWP
software : i used WinOLS

Hardware: KESS V2 KTAG/K-TAG (FG Tech, MPPS V16 can also do that)
Software: ECM TITANIUM 1.61 with 18475 Driver

I got the bundle dealers including KESS V2 KTAG/K-TAG and ECM TITANIUM 1.61 with 18475 Driver from obd365. I think ECM TITANIUM is the good choice for most of vehicles, easy to use and can be worked with many ecu programmers

I have also good experience with this hardware and the support is great.
