hello, i did an first try to tune my golf mkv with bxf engine. i think there are still faults in it but i would like to be pointed in the right direction. so if someone would help me with "rating my tune" and help me out with some problems that would be great. for learning tuning i have read allot of manuals and watched alot of video's. for my tune self i have based myself on the information on the following site https://sites.google.com/site/vagecumap/home

i do not agree with this method of tuning, allot of guys make changes by percentage and guessing. it is really simple to work out fuel/boost ect.

Okay thank you for your comment. Then i should make a table with stock air fuel ratio and then make the improvements that has the same air fuel ratio?.

its really simple if you want a smoke free tune use an AFR of 17.1 and above. if you want a tune file that smokes and makes loads of torque choose an AFR between 16 & 17.1

hello, i remade my tune. can you have a look at it? i know calculated the smoke map en boost map by the AFR of 17.0 but i have my doubts about the smoke map. after the AFR is set at 17.0 i have only a slight improve of IQ. so i manually raised them by an percentage and then calcutated the desired boost pressure to get an AFR of 17.0 so the uploaded files are again the excel file (but with modifications) and the original ecu file. in the excel file you will see "new" and "old" noted. please look only at the "new" part that are the modifications i made now.
