I will appreciate that pal, many thanks, but will it be a pump unit failing this time? I see the pressure being okay when cranking, but building it a bit longer than others tdci, i mean its like having a requested pressure after few cranks more than newer 1.8 tdci... Just thinking - maybe that problem is coming from the pumping section ball valves and seatings, or pistons directly? Anyway thanks in advance for help.
Hey, i had a funny story once, looking-like this non-crank situation. I had a new Mondeo tdci 1.8 having the same problem but the engine seemed to be killed after approx. 2 hours of pause, no reaction at all, even start fluid sprayed directly into the maifold havent fired it up for good, then after few days of battle i saw a little tiny scratch on a plastic fuel pipe covered by some kind of plastic isolation that don`t fulfill its task anyway but so on, it was broken that way so didn`t leaked even a drop. Just by friction. SHT happens when fuel lines are not investigated correctly...
Cheers.
Another question is about Focus mk2 with the same engine but no power... Head done, injectors done, turbo done, VGT reg done as well, and still no power, car drives like it had no low revs just beyond 2300 it drives like it should. Been thinkin` bout the timing but have checked it too. Any suggestion?
