I have recently bought cheap Galletto1260 cable, but I am facing some troubles. I am not even able to read out ECU details from my 1.8T engine in the program EOBD1260 on enclosed CD. After I push the "ECU data" button, messages appear (ensuring about enough voltage and about switching dashboard off and on again - this I do and confirm, of course). After that the reading itself starts. But it always finishes at 80 percent done only, when error message always appears "Changing speed error" and the reading stops. I found some advises on websites about taking fuses no.11 and 15 out of the dashboard in order to turn off instrument cluster. However, this did not help - the program EOBD1260 gets frozen after starting the read ECU process.
Could you help in any way, please?

can you be more specific which engine? 1.8T on which car..and which ECU.
