I'm a Swiss car Mechanic and was more of a Carbs and Distributor Fan ^^ Until the ECU of my daily driver ( Saxo VTR ) decided to work no more... :(

Since i Worked in a small Motorsports Company at the time and had a dyno free to use, i bought a standalone ecu (just a Megasquirt2) to control the Injection and Ignition.
After "some" reading and "some more" of trial and error, i had a running car with a decent fuel consumption for everyday use.... and it was much more fun to drive than before :thumbup: .

Since then, I'm interested in ECU's Mapping Electronics and so on.

Two Years later the Saxo is no more due to a broken gearbox, rust and the general shape of the Car. I found a Citroen Xantia for small money and immediately started thinking about modifications.... what else 8-)

But this time i want to try to reuse the OEM Bosch MP 5.2 ECU

I came to this community because i have more knowledge in things like Engine technology and Mapping, than in what kind of Hard- and Software i need to get the data out of the ECU... AND back in again... best without breaking my cars ECU and/or setting Fire to my Shop :lol:

Therefore i need a place like this where i can ask Questions, and maybe give some answers... but just maybe :think:
