Hey guys, I'm from Brazil and I have a Suzuki GSXR-750 K7.. I was messing with main harness a couple of weeks ago and ended up frying my ECU... The thing is, there is no ECU for my bike model/year around here... So I started looking for an ECU with a compatible hardware, intending to calibrate the differences through a remap (My broken ecu had been tuned and i can recover the data) ... I ended buying a Hayabusa 08 and above ECU, it plugs perfectly, diagnostic mode accessible and working, no error codes (C00), both bikes' sensors seemed to be of the same type and work the same way... Pins correspond to same sensors, coils, injectors, relays, everything seemed compatible, and it was supposed to be just a matter of software... Except the CKPS, both bikes use VR crankshaft sensors, 24-2 pattern rotors, but on the Haya, the magneto is the teethed rotor for the pickup sensor and on my bike, it is on the cam chain driven sprocket rotor (right side)... My bike produces 0,3v and more... The Haya should produce 3v and more from what i read on service manual. I suppose it is higher due the fact of being installed on magneto/stator location... I don't know if voltage is so important, but the type of wave (VR) and the frequency (24-2) should be the same... Bike has spark and fuel and doesn't show any error (Not even C12, related to CKPS) ... But when cranking, it only backfires... I have a power commander to manage fuel, so i tryed adjusting the trim fuel on cranking, from - 60% to +60%, but no success.. I don't intend to use this ecu without remapinng, but i want at least, make it idle, so i can be sure it is just a matter of software tuning... The CKPS offset on my bike is 105° BTDC (Measured) and ignition should be 8° BTDC (according to service manual)... I found on the internet hayabusa trigger offset is 102° BTDC (Internet information, confirmation neeeded) and ignition at idle should be 5° BTDC according to manual... I believe it should idling fine, but it is not, has anyone a light to shed on this matter? I would really appreciate... I'm about to import a correct ECU for my bike exactly model for more than 5x of what i paid on the Haya ECU...
