Hi
Just found this forum and looks like it's exactly what I was looking for! :D

When I left school (far too long ago) I served a full auto electrical apprenticeship, but that was back in the days of contact breaker points and carburetors and when all cars had petrol engines coz diesel engines were big, noisy, rattly, smelly things that hit a maximum of 2200rpm and were only fit for trucks............ After my apprenticeship I spent a few years running my own mobile engine tuning and auto electrical repair business. Although electronic ignition had made it on to the scene carburetors were still the norm and ECUs were unheard of! :?

Well, things moved on and I spent the latter part of my career working with computers and big IT systems

Anyway, I've always been interested in engines (probably always will be) and I want to learn obout ECU tuning so I'm hoping this site will be of help.

If anyone can recommend any suitable literature (online or hard copy) I would very much appreciate it.

Cheers All
