Help With Snowmobile Files

Hello!

I am currently trying to figure out the best way to go about making changes to snowmobile modules. I can connect to them and save the file, only as original file (not supported by anything other than manufacturer) but also an XML File. Is there a way to open the XML, into an editing software for re-mapping and rev limit changes? Is an XML file sufficient?

More specifics on vehicle and ecu would help. Also, post the file read from the ecu.

2005 Ski Doo MXZ 800 I just tried uploading. It says .mpem file not allowed.
