Hey everyone

I bought a A3 2.0 tdi bkd this summer. The power was ok but after few weeks i started thinking, could i get more :) So i started googleing and naturally first thing i stumbled accross was tuning chips. Man i gotta get one of those chips. So i bought 1 with 120e or something. I installed it(plug&play harness thingys) and i wasnt so happy with it so i did some more google and decided that now i need bigger nozzles. I work in a Diesel engine remanufacturing company so it wasnt so hard to chance the nozzles. The nozzles i bought had 1 less holes in them but overall they were about 16% bigger.. i think:D
Originals: DSLA152P 1287++ 6x0,165x152° and the ones i bought:DSLA150P 1043 5x0,195x150°. Anyways, the car started to smoke even more ofc now that i had the chip that ingreased the ammount fuel injected + bigger nozzles, so i thought the motor needs more air...
Google google...hmm what if i put bigger compressorwheel on the gt1749va, yh that should work..So i mounted a 52mm wheel on the compressor side (did teribad job with the compressorhousing). Testdrive.. nothing changed, still smoke. On forums everyone who had done bigger injectors/turbo suggested that remap is always needed before you get anything out of the upgrades. So here i am trying to learn something about remapping:) I managed to open my ecu16 with vag15suite but it could find only 5 maps. torque and injection timings.
I did manage to find smokemap, target boost and boost pressure limiter. i lowered the torque map little so its not smoking anymore. But thats not really the solution cause i was looking for more power not less:) Anyways, this website looks great, soo much usefull info and helpfull ppl it seems:) Siivu
