Hi im daud amin. Im just coming in again to car remapping. I know the basics of reading and writing files via obd. My background is mainly in OBD diagnostics. I have remapped cars before but never edited the files my self. I have sent them to a trusted mapper.

I have also bought a BDM rig along with a Kess v2
, Ktag and MPPS to get me going on the remapoing side of things again. Previously i have been using the Galleto Fgtech V54 which has proven twice be un stable and un trustworthy.

I have also invested in the latest Launch x431 pro (2016) for diagnostics as thats what i am much more capable in . I have been runninf VCDS 12.12 for a good few years now , i just recently upgraded to VCDS 15.7 which seems to be quite stable but i have been running it with my internet disconnected as precaution .

I have decided now its time for me to learn how to actually remap for my self . I still will be sending my files away for now.

If some very generous members could point me in the right direction for Winols, ECM titanium , Damos files and even some tutorials. I would really appreciate it !
