how tuning caterpillar and volvo ?

I am new on ECU tuning. I want to change ecu limits for heavy duty of caterpillar and volvo. I have hex codes but how i can change those codes.is there any software that has supports of volvo and caterpillar heavy duty machines. Thanks.
