im really interested in remapping cars, so i started with my own car, its an astra opc II with z20let engine inside. It has a stage 1 software from the previous owner, so i cant really tune it atm. But i want switch the turbo etc. and self mapping the car later.

So i programed a launch control in the ecu and it works really well. Now i want test and learn more, so i decided to program an ALS, but the only solution which i found is the 2 step als from nefmoto. They program custom code direct in the Me.7 ecu and i dont know how that works for the me 1.5.5. Thats maybe a little bit of an overkill for a noob like me.

My idea is now that i dont need custom code to let the car a a little bit pop and bang. If i change the Ignition Cut timings, it should be pop and bang or is this idea wrong? But where are the tables for the Ignition Cut, im searching and googling since days and cant find a solution how it works, maybe somebody have a suggestion for me? That would be great. The car has a decat pipe and 3" Downpipe + exhaust.

I rebuild a second engine so i doesnt matter if something gets broken.
