Is this my Torque map?

Postby irfas » Sun Nov 08, 2015 11:25 am

Help me out, guys. I' am having difficulty identifying torque map.
Usually torque maps are 19x3 in which one axis is atmospheric pressure and in other one RPM.
However I think in my map is MAF vs RPM. Could it be true? Please check these images of my torque map 9x16.

Please say your opinion. Is this really a torque map?

It can't be MAF vs IQ. 1280/38= 33 AFR, NO. And it is not even similar to any torque map.

Man, I wish I had VAG car to start with... I really thought it's the torque, because of the shape in 3D.

P.s isin't torque limiter usually just before smoke map?
Found some more maps, which could be torque limiters, please take a look.
4 maps: 2 of them identical. Could it be torque limiters? Please take a look

Maybe torque limiter works from speed? Speed vs engine speed?

I think that it can't be a Torque map, your value in Z axis are very low, even for an atmospheric.

I can't help with original map, i can't see it yet...

What is strange to me, that numbers are very "computer like" 128, 512, 1280.

Another thing I noticed, that no mater what Z axis are, the data in the map almost doesn't change. So what I see this map is almost rpm vs IQ.

What really concerns me, that in laguna mk2 1.9dCi engine, there are 5 different torque maps, but all of them are in 2D.

Also, can you comment something on that 4 small torque maps, I posted above?
