Limited by smoke map?

Postby bazooka » Thu Mar 06, 2014 11:55 pm

..I keep reading that your tune should not be limited by the smoke map past a certain RPM. Why is this?

I understand that, but why is it best to have the torque limiter map set lower than the smoke limiter?

If a torque limiter is the lowest limiter of them all, then you can set it to get a smooth response of power delivery through a rev range at WOT.
