I have some background in electronics.
I drive a lot.
I think Bosch engineers are many times lazy, ignorant or stupid with no inclination to learn or understand the real world.
I sincerely hope this is the only post possibly violating the forum rules and I apologize for that.

I have stories as well, like when I discovered that a BOSCH control unit stopped regulating the start of injection, while working altogether normally, only because an unrelated coil was switched on manually. (Fuel shutoff valve wire has fallen off, so I put in a reserve cable to the battery as a quick fix.)
