MB ML 320cdi edc16cp31 how to read

Hi guys next days a friend will come for dpf off ot MB ML 320cdi edc16cp31.My question is.. What tool can I use to read/write it.I have china kess , mpps v18 eu clonce , and bdm100 . Can I do it obd without any problem with kess or mpps ?

Kess will do the job -> read and write.

befor obd I would recommend to do backup via bdm
