Hi there im used to working on VAG vehicles with MSA 15 and EDC 16 but have a friend who really needs my help

His Mercedes sprinter will not start and it seems its down to the IMMO system (SKREEM?)

can anyone tell me what protocol this ecu works on (is it edc16) and more importantly is it possible to re-set Immo

he has the key and fob so do not need immo off just that it does not seem to be working correctly.

Is there a lead I can get to read faults on immo as well as engine if so what lead do I need.
also can i re link it like changing ecu in VAG com?

Also I do have KWP2000 lead which i think may be able to get the dump for me. is it possible to immo off this ecu if that is going to be easier?

If mercedes is CDI need to desolder 68hc908-mcu from immo and eprom from car-mcu and repair with start error software and all is ok but if mercedes is old model need to change car-mcu with mcu wuthout immo

How old and what size engine and horse power is your van. I can help with this allot.but need more info.
