Hi, im a beginner to the ecu writing and reading.
I brought a kess v2 clone to try and remap my own car with help from a tuner with file editing
But ive been reading and it seems my ecu needs to be took out and done on a bdm, is this true?

My cars a 1.6 TDCI 90 Fiesta 2010

I would like to know whats the best tools and software to use for remapping my car and any tips or info would be much appreciated.

It's EDC17C10 or EDC16C34. Engine code relevant for better infos.
EDC16 your Kess should handle, EDC17 I think only bench because of need patch for serial OBD.
