Opal Astra F (Mark 4) immo off?

Hi all,

Trying to help a friend out whos car is stuck at the farm! reading code problem with immo seems to be common with these but seeing if I can help him with the tools I have......I have an mpps tool I use on my bmw.....can I read and write out the immo using this tool?
