Original file for my Opel

Postby chapic1 » Thu Jan 07, 2016 6:39 pm

Basically what i want to know and can somebody guide me on this - can i download original file from internet and will it work? or should i pay somebody to remap so the checksum is right to fit the downloaded orig file in my ecu>? Can somebody please guide me to links where to download safely!

My story : :) My fuel instant fuel consumption/milage on screen is acting weirdly - i shows 20 - 50 liters per 100km when driving 50 km/h! when i press down on throttle it goes down to 4- 6l/100km! Engine is working normaly and consuption is normal! When i asked electrican - he sad that ecu needs to be reflashed with orignal file!I So i ordered bdm100 and waiting for it! I have opel vectra caravan 2009 with 1.9 cdti (110kw) Z19TDH I think there won`t be problem making bdm connection to pc because i flash xbox and it`s similar process! Basically what i want to know and can somebody guide me on this - how to get working original file from internet! I read about checksum.. so i got worried!

Process as i understand it : Solder to bdm points attach cable to bdm100, launch software and read ecu, saving it to my pc for safety reasons, download from internet another original file and write it back in, desolder and put it back in car! am i right>?

My car : vectra caravan 2009 with 1.9 cdti (110kw) Z19TDH
ECU label looks like this :
Made in Hungary
1409 1040
BOSCH 0281014450 (658) 08-07-22 1039523691

HB 55 566 277

THANKS FOR any of your effort even to read my problems :)

Does your car have a DPF/FAP in or has it been removed? The Vectra estates will normally have a DPF fitted from the factory. I have found a few files for your car but we ideally need your SW and HW number, it's hard to just go off the HW number. EDC16 C39 will write well through the diagnostic port too, you don't have to open the ECU if you don't want to.

Do you have access to OP-COM? I'm sure OP-COM can pull the SW number from the engine ECU. It should start 10373.

Yes i have particle filter fitted! Nothing has been modified on my car! So when you search for original file you search by serial and hardware? i ordered opcom a week ago! 3 weeks left till arival aproxiamtely! but i can get to autocom/delphi - can i check those numbers with that? If not i`m gonna get access to op-com next week i already ordered bdm100 so i`m gonna try with it! but if i would want to do that trough obd - it should be done with mpps i suppose?
