Original=Virgin??

Hello, sounds stupid, but i can t understand if original dump is needed to virginize an ecu and transplant to another car, or simply used to recover a bad tuned ecu.

regards

Virgin ecu - ecu without stored immo code.
Original - not modified (not tuned) original firmware from ecu.
Most of ecu store immo code in eeprom memory and firmware in flash memory. This case for virginize you need modify only eeprom.
But same ecu store immo inside the firmware. This case you need virgine original firmware - flash dump.

What I know that immo in eeprom and maps in flash so, what is micro?
Can you tell me what is the data stored in micro part and it's usage?
