'Over the Air' Custom Tunes for tuners

Postby pgbpro20 » Tue Apr 10, 2018 7:20 am

Hey guys,
I'm a software dev and a guy and a car guy with a question for the tuners of this forum.

I am not a tuner myself and I know little of that industry. Anyway my tuner gave me an idea that is technically feasible, but could fall apart for commercial reasons {i.e. bad business idea}

I could do something that would allow tuners to read and write PCMs for GM LS based engine's (at first) 'over the air' without needing to have the PCM physically present in their workshop.

For the purposes of this discussion lets assume all the technical problems are sorted out. I'm thinking that if I undertook this project there really wouldn't be many other interesting in doing 'over the air' custom tunes. I don't want to waste my time... help ?
