Peugeot 206 2.0 HDi EDC15C2 Popcorn Rev Limiter

Hello guys,

I have my 206 2.0 HDi for a long time and allways remaped with a normal cut off, torque limiter with 1 rpm gap... it cuts fast and its not that bad, but nothing like a tdi PD with SngleValueRevLimiter changed...

Well, I went looking for the SVRevL on this ECU and i found it.. but it is nothing like tdi pd, it cuts really hard and loud but it is not fast, it sounds like a shotgun firing or a honda turbo on launch control lol...

My question is, is there a way to make it faster like tdi pd? it would be awesome... well im trying diferents options but i dont want to try that much to not brake the engine ahah

Hi, another from Portugal here on forum, that's great.

You should put some pics where you locate the SVRL, i have a Peugeot Expert 2.0 HDi, i'm tring to find SVRL.
Try to make a video and upload it to youtube, would be great to see your project, the before and after would be awesome.

I also have a 2.0 hdi, without rev limiter. I would be interested in finding the svrl.

Could you share a picture of how the map looks like ?

there is this video check it out.

In my knowledge which is not that advanced in tuning yet, a possibility to create a hard cut is trough big boost,
If you could create boost on no load like free acceleration, if you understand what I am trying to say and keep the same limiter on the
torque limit of 1 rpm on.

With big boost and a little more fuel should throw it out like this.( my opinion )

On Benzine engine they use the Anti Lag combined with Launch Control to create Boost and Create that big explosion fast.

Most of the people use bigger turbo and injectors to create that fast hard cut but that is on PD,
I think you could make it with bigger boost and more fuel, I may be wrong but is worth trying ;).

PS: It would be easy if we could use anti-lag but we are running on diesel not petrol :problem: tho it gives us torque :mrgreen: :clap:

Boas Eduardo Soares e restante malta dos Peugeot 206 hdi

eu tenho um 206 2.0 Hdi de 2001 e não consigo po-lo a cortar, tudo o que meto ele assume-me no limitador, ou seja mesmo se baixar a rpm para as 4200/4500 ele vai me bater ah mesma no limitador o que faz com que ele não me corte,

ah algum truque que não estou a apanhar ?
