Not exactly. Cutting fuel in torque limiter wont do real popcorn sound, need to change single value rev limiter.

Does the Vauxhall/Opel 1.7 DTi Isuzu have svrl to get popcorn sound, have done fuel cut in torque limiter, which works as a limiter but not getting any popping.

Any help be appreciated, thanks

Hi, I'm new to this forum and new to editing maps. I use ECM, I'm still learning the maps from various cars.

Be gentle lol.

I've got a 1.9cdti vectra, I'm wanting to add a hardcut limiter on it, I've read through all 18 pages of this thread, and to be honest it's still all a bit confusing/daunting as different people are saying different things on how to actually achieve this.

In simple terms for a newcomer please lol

Thanks guys

Guys, maybe i must start a new thread, but is popcorn actualy good for turbo? Cos if you think about it, you have small explosions of gas run trough the turbine. Its not a constant exhaust gas flow but rather a rapid alternation of flow which sounds to me tension on the exhaust shaft? What do you guys think?
