Portable Battery?

Postby kendal2 » Thu Apr 23, 2020 5:51 am

Hi there very quickly:
Firstly I am now here and I have just started up in the remapping business. I am currently using AutoTuner for remapping.
My question is because I am a mobile remapper is there a portable battery pack that I should use to do my remapping with. I don't want to remap a car and for the voltage to drop. I know the AutoTuner is pretty quick when reading and writing, from experience it takes about 1-3 minutes both ways. Is there something I can use to maintain the voltage like a battery pack.

Would it be ok just to get a £50-100 jump starter power banks like this one?

Thanks in advance.

Depends on cars... some newer cars need high Ampere ...
Iam unsing Gys Gysflash 100 for portable job good easy one with good stability.
Prices ~600€. For good power supply you should invest~200-350€ minium.

Another option is to use your own vehicle's battery with the engine running and good starting cables, it will suffice and be much better than any portable starter.
