My neighbor borrowed me is galleto v1260. Can i use it to flash the ECU of my Audi a6 c4 2.5 TDI AAT? If yes what driver should i use as my car model doesn't show up in the list. If not what other hardware is there compatible with my ECU. I don´t exactly know what kind it is :oops: .

Could any one help please. Does anyone know what of ECU has my Audi A6 C4 2.5 TDi 5 cyl. AAt motor?

This is what i know about this engine:
Fuel system & engine management timing belt driven Bosch VE (ABP) or VP37 (AAT, AEL) mechanical distributor-type injection pump with direct injection (DI); Bosch EDC electronic ECU.
But what type of ECU ? edc 15P ? V? Ve...? Can´t find and i´m confused.

If you're not sure, unmount ECU and take a look of the label.

The ECU is mounted inside under the passenger foot rest. I don´t want to cut the carpet as it seems to be all one piece :( . So if anyone has or had a the same car can you please help. :?:

Try to connect to it with Vag-Com interface. The model of the ECU should appear on the screen...

It´s a EDC 14 C. So anyone knows of a compatible flasher? Will galleto 1260 work? KWP2000 + ? wich one?

No. You cannot flash it.

You need to take factory eprom out, insert new program and put new eprom back in.

There are 2 eprom : 1 for fuel management and 1 for timing+turbo management.

Finally some light has been shown. Thanks. It´s out of my league for now. I guess i´m buying a Porche now. :lol:

This is the same for 1.9 tdi 1z engine, with 2 eeprom inside , 1 for fuel management and 1 for timing+turbo management.Needs both to be tuned,and cant be read by 1250, only on table via any kind of flash programmer
