What amazes me of that engine is that it is a big powerful engine. While all other makers are downsizing, Honda keeps the tried and true 2.2. And they do well, because it's much better to drive and less thirsty than most 1.6 liters out there. I have a friend with an Accord with the same engine, it's very nice.

Yes, the clutch is a joke to be honest - but the engine itself is spot-on. Just keep to the regular service schedule, replace oil with quality one and no probs with it at all - done 130k miles with my, and still sounds as sweet as the day I have bought it - but now with 200+bhp, new paddle clutch and an impressive fuel economy:)

The new range of uprated clutches (like the competition clutch twin plate) can take the power...

Just got to find a way to get more out of the engines now to take advantage of them ;)
