Immo off Xsara Picaso 2.0 HDi

Hello everybody. I want to immo off a Xsara Picasso 2.0 HDI RHY with an EDC15C2 1 plug. I've read that I need to "reprogram" 5p08c3 because I've error P1517.
What programmer should I buy?

Buy the MiniPro or Willem programmers. All this programmers works with this memory. But MiniPro works with USB, Willem need LPT port.

I've seen there are a lot of sockets. What should I buy? SOIC8, DIP8?

I've tried desoldering the eeprom of the broken ECU, but I don't know how I've to desolder it. It look like it is attached with a kind of glue.
How it is removed?

If you are planning to stay at this business then don't buy CHEAP equipment it will only cause you problems, i use Omega/orange for years will NO Problems. Regards P.

Thanks you for the advice. Now, can't afford to buy a super professional high-tech programmer. I want to programme only 2 or 3, and them I will buy a professional one.
