Please help with recommendation on right tool (specific)

Postby JPower » Sat Nov 09, 2013 1:30 am

Hello everyone,

Would like to start with remapping but not as professional tuner, it is only my hobby. That means that I am not able to spend something like 3.000 € for hardware. I would like to do VAG vehicles, especially EDC15, EDC16 and ME7 as I would like to start with them.

Up to now I envisaged:

- Galletto V1250
- KWP2000+ (I have the feeling that this type of flasher isn't used by a lot of users)
- SMPS MPPS V12.0.0.6
- DigiFlasher Pro Black-Edition

It seems that the SMPS MPPS V12 should be the best all-in-one solution since I saw that the baud rate could be changed here which is sometime helpful. Since I have no experience I would like to kindly ask you, if you could give me a recommendation.

Thanks a lot!

EDC15 these are old cars . who makes the tuning of 15 years old ? 80% of cars has edc16 (diesel) . EDC17 - do not touch !

BDM frame and bdm100 this is " must have "

Just to give a feedback for other newbies.

Up to now trying to do everything with a programmer. The above mentioned tools are not very reliable so will wait and then buy an original tool which is affordable also for hobby use. Every other solution seems to be inefficient
