I also think that there is single value rev limiter somewhere, but can't find it. Hopefully someone can and is willing to help me. :)
The reason for me trying to rev it so hi is because I have a really big turbo for this engine.. It is a GT 22 hybrid turbo with variable geometry and 60mm compressor wheel capable of producing around 420 bhp. In my application it spools up effectively at around 3000 - 3200 rpm and can't reach it's full potential (air flow) at 5250 rpm, so i need to go a bit higher.. :) Someone will think that I am crazy for trying this but I'm not the first one to do it with success..
It is possible to do this with diesel engine for sure and this video proofs it :
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eet8Q-Y5NVwFollowing the big turbo are lots of modifications that I've done to my engine like: Ported and polished head, modified actual valves, custom exhaust manifold, custom 3" exhaust, bigger intercooler and piping, custom intake manifold ( It's a shiny crap and a reason why i'm pulling the engine out.. It was a temporary solution that doesn't work good), etc, etc.. Attached are some of the photos of engine and some of the parts.. :)
Still hoping someone will help me with my problem. :D :D
Thanks in advanced. :)
