but i would like know how make this pop corn?

i do not understand if your car have direct exhaust (i think not) and this car have a direct exhaust (i think) and the sound is amazing.
to make this sound i think that have a secret formula!
i know that have people know, but do not explain, i dont know why, but ok!
can you get this sound in your car? (with a direct exhaust?)

thanks

The exhaust sound comes from multiple components and their materials. People oftenly experiment and try different version to find the one they like.

The car makers usually have sound studios and "exhaust matematicians" which try all sorts of things on all sorts of engines to get the best formula for their car.. There is not any given formula to sort this puzzle but only to try and see :)

The exhaust system contains the first of all the exhaust manifold which is attached to the headers (oftenly the expression is "spaghetti" :) ) and then the catalytic converter and silencer, middle box and the rear box. Which ones to throw out of the equasion is not an easy question, people usualy try different methods to get the one they like.If you find a good exhaust system repair shop or a tuner they will oftenly make tuned variants from inox, titanium, ... depends on the car make etc.

Be aware that messing with your exhaust system and components (specially the lambda sensors - depends on the car make etc) can really make your day go from good to worse :) and by tampering with your exhaust system your car will no longer go along the emissions standards that your country uses (well, i dont really know what country you are from so.. dont take this for granted).

The "direct exhaust" that is being mentionted usualy stands from a stainless steel tube all the way to the back box with nothing in between :) i dont know for diesels but for petrol driven cars is usualy from inox :)

So the best thing to do.. Try it? :)

Hey , does this arrangement make the "popcorn" sound more rapid ? iv been using the same except with a 1rpm gap to zero and it backfires and limits but its not as rapid like this vid http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FIgqp21PZaM, any ideas how to get it to speed up my limit is set at 4500rpm
