Mpps bmw X5 - problem connection (16c31)

Postby Libi » Tue Mar 04, 2014 11:38 am

Hello
I can not read ecu from BMW x5 (edc 16c31) by MPPS v12.
The connection is disable.
Mpps give me only information , must by above 14V.
I connected charger, then was 13,2V but steel connection was disable.
Should I connect DC power supply and set 14,5 V DC, and then tray ?

ecuedit what you propose ?
BDM or galleto ?

Even if I took ECU on table and connect MPPS to ECU by pin - don`t use mpps ?

Hi.
I used mpps today for my e46 320d (150bhp)
i didn't try it with lov voltage (under 14V) so i went and buy an charger which can do slow, fast and start mod...
fast mod wasn't enough (20A) so i used the start mod of the charger, it was ok!
I was able to reed my ecu and i sent it away and got an modified file in one hour, load it up and went on a test drive.
the map was ok, good acceleration, im quet happy! So if do the requirements mpps is a good tool to remapping!
I used this kind of tools first and reemapad car first and was easy, but i was stersfull till i've finished... :)
