Some upgrades of 406 2.2 HDI

Here is something maybe interesting one of things that i have done on HDI engine,
Peugeot 406 of course.

The most important and interesting was injector nozzle upgrade.

upgraded injector nozzles (with 8 holes, same spray angle, from 6.0 L truck engine)

upgraded rail sensor (1800bar)

upgraded map sensor (2bar boost)

upgraded intercooler (from MB AMG)

installed oil cooler

upgraded gearbox (6 speed gearbox)

upgraded flywheel (solid single mass)

flywheel lightened for 1.5kg

upgraded clutch (carbon)

installed upper strut brace

installed lower strut brace

some dash upgrade

kn sport air filter

upgraded bumper (opened for whole intercooler surface, closed with web)

Tacoma wheels (refurbished and dust tempered, white)

upgraded brakes (nothing special)

de-cat

de-fap

EGR system removed

all heat exchangers removed

cold port flaps removed

inlet pipes upgraded 70mm

pressure pipes upgraded 70mm

upgraded exhaust (direct 60mm pipe without resistance)

oil catcher tank installed

engine bottom cover - covered with aluminium cover

oil pressure sensor and gauge installed

extra boost pressure sensor and gauge installed

engine fan switch on/off manually controlled

complete ecu perfectly calculated up to 120mm3 of inj. qty

huh, i bought so much things for that car that i will have to look huge history :) if i find i will post.

MOT test passed today. Smoke 0,69 :) --> invisible.

Passing a MOT doesn't mean much - I passed it with a laguna.. :lol: :lol:

But smoke test is a more valuable information. It should be done on dyno (under full load) - many cars wouldn't pass, including mine with current setup.. :eh: although keeping rpm at any value without load is smokeless...

some news:

complete intake 74mm stainless steel
pressure pipes 70mm stainles steel
exhaust 70mm stainless steel
turbo upgraded (boosting 2bar)
upgraded maf sensor
launch control enabled

and some other stuff,
will post video of acceleration in short.
