EDIT: You said that your car is tuned by the owner before you, can you read your ecu and upload your file?

That I can do as soon as I manage to get time to dump a hex from the ECU and see if it really is tuned.
I have no reason to doubt it as it is a former under cover police car and runs real good, but I have not driven any other 525D's to compare it with.

Did drive a 530D once and was really disappointed on how it performed back then, but I've always been driving V8 cars so I may be kind of spoiled :lol:

Did read the ECU and yes, it's probably tuned as the file was marked NOREAD from EVC\Winols.
And there are differences compared to an original file.

Does anyone have map pack for this ECU ?

I'd really like to understand what is changed and share when as I go along.

Yeah the adresses of 525D e39 are really hard, also opened a tread but got no answer for map adresses.

I'll post a .csv file with map adresses I did find that seems to be ok according to the hint from abc-tuning on which maps to search for.

Just posting my .hex file would be too easy ;)

I've attached 15 maps that I've got from the .csv-file and earlier hints.

Maybe you can help me with the torque limiter, when i press on the beginning of the map and choose the size and then press K nothing happens, what could i do? Thank
