..or we could say cylinder bore was drilled by drunk engineer and it works quite well but that sounds bad from a marketing point of view

I think timing 0 would have to be -2 degrees from parallel. That's when piston is at highest point in bore and conrod/crank arm is straight (TDC), although BDC would then be 182 ATDC. As you say.....any other arrangement would surely make things overly complex.

I don't use any apps that work on client server basis.
I don't open doors through my firewall for complete strangers.
If it was as a standalone app.....I would probably give it a try.

You can setup client software on virtual machine (wmware, virtualpc and so on) and not compromise safety of you system.
DieselRK great for understanding parameters fluency to ignition, combustion, power, EGT, noise etc. But hard for calculations with pilot-injection.

Once a hacker is in...a hacker is in.
Better to not give out an invite to begin with.
More than one PC on a network.

"Who want - search solution, who not want - search reason..." (C) :)
Setup separate networks allow lots of routers, find old PC for separate client not a problem...
I not promote this program, I used it and it help me to optimize injection. Non direct, I don't know lot of params need for clear calculations (for example injectors nozzle diam and angle etc.) but show right way.
